Hamilton will be free all summer at the Delacorte Theater during Shakespeare in the Park.

Think Lin-Manuel Miranda is basically the 21st century’s Shakespeare? You’re not alone. This summer, instead of offering the usual, tired mainstays–Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet–The Public is bringing Hamilton to Central Park’s Delacorte Theater. Like always with Shakespeare in the Park, tickets will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis, so get in line early (like, bring a tent, diapers and a week’s rationing of food) for a chance to see the show live.

Escape NYC

A real life escape game Escape Games NYC traps players inside another reality where brawn can’t help them. Rather, players must access their skills of deduction, their imaginations, and their outside-the-box thinking to find their way back.

The Game Master

Upon arrival, teams of two to six players meet the Game Master, the only liaison they have to the outside world. The Game Master explains the rules: no outside devices are allowed and players must use their wits as a team to find solutions to the puzzles before them. When a brain teaser has them stumped, they’ll have three chances to request a hint from the Game Master, who might grant them extra time if they’re close to a solution or lovingly serenade him.

The Rooms

The rooms were custom-built to be completely immersive and wholly different from other live escape games, with narrative story lines fit for an adventure film or presidential biopic. Players dive into intense stories as they take on the role of detectives on a dangerous case involving the mob or find themselves on a spaceship that’s hit trouble on its way back to Earth.
